On a beautiful morning, I decided to visit the Historic Nash House off of Broadway Avenue, a stones throw from the thick of Downtown. I got the chance to relax and I soak in the history of the area. I imagined my brothers and sisters victim to slavery passing through the very place where I was sitting, headed to the secret passageways to the Michigan Street Baptist Church, the second oldest church in Buffalo. I was very moved by the thought of the great minds that were advocates for change and justice in the early 1900’s. The Niagara Movement was one of the most important movements igniting the Civil Rights Movement. GO BUFFALO!!

Shouts out to the Links Organization and their selfless and relentless efforts to raise money for Student Scholarships. Most recently, The Links organized another successful party with a purpose, with the Harlem Renaissance as the theme and back drop with young and seasoned guests alike, dressed in Zuit Suits and Flapper dresses. My wife and I had a delightful time, as we had to perform Cab Calloways’ “Minnie the Moocher,” hence the Bumble Bee Zuit suit. NOTE: Great JOB to Sundra and Janessa!!

One of favorite movies of all time, House Party. However, I wish they had never considered trying to make it into a saga. It’s unbelievable how terrible the movies were that followed the original. I was inspired to make a full-length video for the OHNO song since the commercial for the GOOD EVENING BILLY Release Party was such a success. REAL videos for songs off of the album are currently in the works, but until they are complete, chew on this and enjoy the throwback.
In classic DVD movie menu style, I provided an alternative ending to the video as well.
