Untitled + undressed = Grammy. Well, its not really that simple; Not that simple at all. But, D’Angelo made it appear that effortless in his performance of his Grammy-winning song/video. D’Angelo remains one of my favorite artists to date. Although he has only released two albums over 15 years, 10 years ago since his last album, they were both critically-acclaimed. He ushered in a new sound that many artists have since crowned themselves the kings and queens of Neo-Soul in D’Angelo’s absence. I really loved admired this guys talent, energy and contribution to music as a whole. At the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2001, he was awarded Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for Untitled (How Does It Feel).

I believe that there are many other like me, that still have flickering candles hope that the REAL king of Neo-Soul will return.
