DAY 153 GRAMMY CHASE: CALL-LIN-DA-PO-LEASE

One of my favorite bands EVER! I’m a little raggedy in regards to possessing a full collect, but nevertheless, their music spoke volumes for generations and their older work remains a mark of excellence. The Police won Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 1981 – “Don’t Stand So Close To Me.” Also, in the same year, they won Best Rock Instrumental Performance for “Behind My Camel.” I think they’re still seeing residuals from Diddy’s remake of “Every Breath You Take,” 1983 Grammy Award-Winning song for the Police. But like all good things, they come to an end, yet the music thankfully lives on.
